Important Update: Change to Our APCA ID
As of 1st June 2025, Pinch Payments has moved to a new Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA) ID: 601007.
Why the Change?
Following our recent acquisition by Fiserv and the migration of our Direct Debit facilities, this update ensures continued service under new arrangements.
What Does This Mean for You?
Most users don’t need to take any action. Our updated Direct Debit Request (DDR) and Direct Debit Request Service Agreement (DDRSA) documents are already live in the Pinch platform and will automatically apply to new payer sign-ups.
However, if your business uses custom DDR or DDRSA documents, please ensure the APCA ID is updated to 601007 by 30th June 2025.
You can view the updated DDRSA here.
Do My Customers Need to Do Anything?
No action is required from your customers. The new APCA ID will appear on their bank statements, but it will still reference your business name - so it should feel familiar.
