Pinch End-of-Year Partner Challenge – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter and Promotion

  1. The promoter is Pinch Payments, ABN [to be confirmed], of [business address to be confirmed] (Promoter).
  2. The promotion is the Pinch End-of-Year Partner Challenge (Promotion). These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Promotion and the awarding of prizes.
  3. The Promotion is open Australia-wide, subject to the eligibility requirements set out below.

2. Promotion Period

  1. The Promotion opens at 7:00 pm AEDT on 4 November 2026 and closes at 7:00 pm AEDT on 4 December 2026 (Promotion Period). Activity occurring outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
  2. The Promoter expects to determine and notify the winners around 10 December 2026. If additional time is required to verify entries or determine a winner, the Promoter will notify affected entrants as soon as reasonably practicable.

3. Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who are Australian residents and who, throughout the Promotion Period, are registered and active participants in the Pinch Partner Program, or are authorised representatives of an Australian business registered and active in that program (Eligible Partners).
  2. Where a partner account belongs to a business, any prize will be awarded to that business through its authorised representative. Each partner account may win one category only.
  3. Employees of the Promoter and its related entities, and any person directly involved in administering or judging the Promotion, are not eligible to enter.
  4. There is no separate purchase or entry fee. Normal costs associated with operating a business, making referrals, creating content or accessing the internet remain the entrant’s responsibility.

4. Ways to Enter and Win

An Eligible Partner may participate in any or all of the three categories below. There will be one winner per category. Winners will be determined according to the criteria for each category and will not be selected at random.

Category A: Referral Champion

  1. The Referral Champion will be the Eligible Partner with the highest number of qualifying merchants referred through that partner’s Pinch Partner Program referrals during the Promotion Period, as recorded in the Pinch backend.
  2. A qualifying merchant is a merchant who successfully signs up with Pinch through an Eligible Partner’s referral during the Promotion Period, with the qualifying status recorded in the Pinch backend before the end of the Promotion Period.
  3. Each qualifying merchant will be counted once only, regardless of the number of locations, accounts or transactions associated with that merchant.
  4. The Promoter will use its Partner Program records to attribute each qualifying merchant to an Eligible Partner. Referral activity that cannot be verified against those records will not count.

Category B: Engagement Champion

  1. To enter, an Eligible Partner must publish an eligible post about Pinch on a social media channel they control during the Promotion Period and provide the Promoter with the post URL and relevant account details before the end of the Promotion Period.
  2. The Engagement Champion will be the Eligible Partner whose eligible post achieves the highest likes-to-follower ratio.
  3. The likes-to-follower ratio will be calculated as:

Number of eligible likes on the post ÷ number of followers of the posting account

  1. Eligible likes and follower numbers will be measured at 7:00 pm AEDT on 4 December 2026.
  2. Posts may be published on any social media channel, provided the post, engagement and follower count are publicly visible or can otherwise be independently verified by the Promoter.
  3. An Eligible Partner may submit multiple eligible posts during the Promotion Period. Each post will be assessed separately, and only the Eligible Partner’s highest-performing eligible post will be considered when determining the winner.
  4. Where a social media platform uses reactions or another equivalent engagement measure instead of “likes”, the Promoter may treat equivalent positive reactions as likes when calculating the likes-to-follower ratio.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude purchased or artificially generated likes or followers, engagement generated through bots or other artificial means, and any post that breaches applicable social media platform rules or these Terms and Conditions.

Category C: Silver Bullet

  1. To enter, an Eligible Partner must make one identifiable referral during the Promotion Period to a network, franchise or other organisation with the potential to create a significant partnership opportunity for Pinch.
  2. To qualify, the referral must result in a genuine introduction or conversation with a relevant decision-maker during the Promotion Period.
  3. The referral must be submitted to Pinch with sufficient information for the Promoter to identify the introduction and assess the opportunity. The Eligible Partner must have the appropriate authority or permission to share any third party’s contact details with Pinch.
  4. The Silver Bullet winner will be the Eligible Partner who delivers the most significant single qualifying referral during the Promotion Period.
  5. Qualifying referrals will be assessed based on:
    • the scale of the opportunity, including the potential number of merchants or businesses involved;
    • the relevance of the opportunity to Pinch and the Pinch Partner Program;
    • the quality of the introduction, including access to an appropriate decision-maker; and
    • evidence of a genuine conversation or partnership opportunity.
  6. The winner will be determined through assessment against these criteria and will not be selected by random draw. The assessment will focus on the quality and significance of the opportunity created during the Promotion Period and will not be based solely on an estimate of potential future revenue.

Any person involved in assessing entries must disclose any material conflict of interest and must not assess an entry where that conflict could reasonably affect the decision.
